Donal Brown

Lead Physiotherapist & Founder
BSc (Hons), HCPC, MCSP, AACP.
Donal founded Browns Physiotherapy back in early 2020. Having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University back in 2013 he started his career working for one of the largest private physiotherapy companies in the U.K. He was one of the youngest Physiotherapists to be made a clinical lead at the age of 24 managing and undertaking the clinical development of 12 clinicians.

Charlie Wilson

Senior MSK Physiotherapist
MSCi (Hons), MCSP, HCPC,
Charlie is one of the Senior Physiotherapists here at Browns. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Keele University in Staffordshire. With a strong background in sport, including over 15 years of competitive football and regular training in the gym, Charlie’s passion for physiotherapy is deeply rooted in his athletic experience. In his role as a Senior Physiotherapist, Charlie regularly manages complex and challenging cases, with a track record of successfully treating a wide spectrum of conditions. His experience and clinical judgement make him a key figure within the Browns team.

Sam Thompson

MSK Physiotherapist MCSP, HCPC
Sam completed an Integrated Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bradford and is known for his warm, friendly approach. He enjoys getting to know each patient and creating personalised treatment plans that help them move confidently and stay active in everyday life. Through working in the NHS, Sam gained experience supporting people with a wide range of injuries and mobility issues, alongside his experience from working with local rugby clubs, he has an insight into both everyday and sport-related demands. He combines hands-on physiotherapy with practical exercises and advice to support long-term recovery and wellbeing. Sam loves staying active through the gym, paddle boarding, and hiking, and he also enjoys following Welsh rugby

Liam Edwards

MSK Physiotherapist HCPC, MCSP
Liam completed his BSc (Hons) at Salford University and is a skilled physiotherapist with a strong background in the NHS, bringing hands on treatment, evidence-based care and clinical excellence to every patient he treats. As a former professional footballer, he has first-hand experience of the physical demands of elite sport, giving him a unique insight into injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance. Liam combines his clinical expertise with an athlete’s mindset to help patients recover confidently and return to the activities they love. Outside of work, Liam enjoys going to the gym, playing padel and socialising with friends.

Delson Salius

Podiatrist MHCPC, MRCP
Delson graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Salford in 2023. He has extensive experience in routine podiatric care, diabetic foot management, and the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Outside of work, Delson enjoys going to the gym and having a strong passion for football.

Leanne Broadhurst

Client Care Specialist
Leanne is dedicated to ensuring every client has an exceptional experience at Browns Physiotherapy & Wellness. With a background in owning and running her own confectionery business, she brings a strong focus on customer care, organisation, and attention to detail. From your first point of contact through to post-appointment follow-up, Leanne is your reliable and friendly go-to. Known for her warm welcome, great coffee, and the occasional homemade cake, she helps ensure everyone feels welcomed, relaxed, and well looked after while visiting Browns. Outside of the clinic, Leanne keeps busy running her business Crumbs, enjoys pottery painting and attending her local book club. She can often be found perfecting barista-level coffees at home for herself and her friends or running in the beautiful Peak District.
